    Redeemer Renaissance After-School Program, Lutheran Church of the Redeemer
    1545 Chain Bridge Rd., McLean, VA


    The Redeemer Renaissance After-School Program strives to provide its participants with a broad spectrum of activities and enriching experiences designed to be enjoyable while fostering creativity and instilling values and social responsibility. 
    Private music lessons, homework support and computers are also available.

    The program operates from 12:30 PM until 6:15 PM on Mondays and from 3:00 PM until 6:15 PM on Tuesdays through Fridays. The program is in session from 8:00 AM until 6:15 PM on Fairfax County Teacher Professional Days and during camps.

    FCPS buses provide transportation to Redeemer from Churchill Rd. Elementary School, Franklin Sherman Elementary School, Haycock Elementary School, and Kent Gardens Elementary School.


    REGISTRATION FOR THE 2013-2014 SCHOOL YEAR IS OPEN. ALL BUS SEATS FROM CHURCHILL RD., KENT GARDENS AND HAYCOCK ARE ALREADY TAKEN. NEW REGISTRATIONS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM FRANKLIN SHERMAN. WAIT LISTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR CHURCHILL RD.,HAYCOCK AND KENT GARDENS. SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION IS ALSO OPEN. SEE BELOW.

Community Service
Redeemer Renaissance collected more than 100 new and gently used children’s books for Books for America.

On May 5th, Redeemer Renaissance had a Cookies For Kids Bake Sale.  All proceeds go to pediatric cancer research.  Click here to make a donation to our effort.

Special Events

On June 18th, Redeemer Renaissance will celebrate the end of school at
Chuck E Cheese in Sterling.  Please submit completed permission slips by May 24.

On June 19th, Redeemer Renaissance will visit the National Building Museum for Mini-Golf and a visit to Play, Work, Build. Please submit completed permission slips
by May 24.


On June 20th, Redeemer Renaissance will visit Port Discovery in Baltimore.

On June 21st, Redeemer Renaissance will have games, a movie, moon bounces and water
activities (weather permitting.)
